The safety and well-being of our students is our number one priority
SportsCoach is dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment for its students and is proud to have been one of the first children’s organizations to set up a Protection Protocol for all its schools.
This protocol was established by the late Ray Wyre, a well known and respected leading figure in the field of children’s safety.
Since his death in 2008 SportsCoach has retained Steve Lowe, Ray’s former partner, to continue Ray’s work as our child protection consultant.
In addition, the presence of a non-teaching Principal in every SportsCoach School ensures best practice in the safeguarding of students. Our rules insist on the presence of this Principal at all times and our policy ensures that every Principal has a direct phone link to professional help and advice, when needed.
All SportsCoach Principals have First Aid training and all SportsCoach staff are checked by The Criminal Records Bureau.
